Old Characters For Sale/Trade, Role-play?

Journal Entry: Mon Mar 13, 2017, 6:06 PM

Heya, folks!

So I managed to get a code for the site which is apparently pretty popular these days for selling/trading/displaying characters and the like. I've only just started my account earlier today and tried to fill it up with a handful of the characters who've been in my stockpile for years, gathering dust and not being used :c

So I'm wanting to change that and find new homes for them. I'm up for offers of money, points, art [of similar quality to my own, preferably], and [maybe] designs. I tend to not adopt/get new characters unless I have a clear idea for them, so it'll take a real nice design [in my eyes] for me to want to trade.

Anyhow, I'll keep updating the site every so often with old designs I really need to get rid of, be them my old characters or ones that I adopted but never actually used. There are some on my page already, but they're in a different folder than the one linked above.

Also, I joined RpRepository to throw my active roleplaying characters (including Alexis, Oriana, and Duskfeather). I also joined to maybe find some role play partners? It's something pretty stress free that I have come to enjoy as a hobby, again. Also helps me stretch my writing muscles and develop my characters more. So if anyone's interested in befriending me on there and/or roleplaying, I'd be glad to consider it!

Also, I started a role play server on Discord. It's still slowly starting up, but that's why I'd like some more players to join in.

I'm on Spring Break and hopefully I'll get my ass in gear and actually do some full piece art for a change. That's the plan, but we'll see if it happens.

As a side note, I'd also like to gauge interest in me posting a few extra chapters of the middle-end of Frost and Feathers. I'll probably post a poll later. I think it's about... five or six extra chapters? It's kind of a side plot.
Either way, I'm glad you guys seem to be enjoying the story [at least those of you who have been reading it]. It'll be kind of bittersweet (mostly sweet, though) to be posting the last part of Part 1 this Friday.

Also another side note, my friend, FourFires is holding a contest to emphasize the endangered status of the red wolf. She's offering some great prizes! I'm gonna enter myself, when I'm able. Check it out!

Anyhow, hope you're all doing well!

(stolen from my inbox) What kind of artist am I/do you think most fits me?

7 deviants said An "Improving" Artist: Your talent is obvious, but it is not perfected. There are many things you can fix about your work, but that doesn't mean you aren't wonderful already.
2 deviants said An "Idol" Artist: You are an artist I look up to, get inspiration from, and sometimes I wish I had your talent/skill.
2 deviants said A "Normal" Artist: You're a typical, everyday artist who wants to do their best. I have neutral feelings about you as a person.
No deviants said A "Compassionate, Caring" Artist: You are an artist who does what they can to help other people, even if it means putting down everything you're working on to help someone in need. Your art is great, but your heart is greater.
No deviants said A "Whiner-Brat" Artist: Your artwork is enjoyable, but I strongly dislike and often am at odds with your attitude and you as a person.
No deviants said A "Tunnel Vision" Artist: You draw a lot of the same subject matter and rarely divert from it, even when others suggest you should. As enjoyable as your work is, your lack of ambition to variate subject matter is off putting whatever talent/skill you may
No deviants said A "Stuck Up" Artist: You have tons of fans yet you have sub-par artwork. You gain tons of attention and you soak it all up but pretend you're humble about it. Although you can be nice, most of the time, you're too "busy" soaking up your popularity.
No deviants said An "Invisible" Artist: You're more of an enigma, choosing to upload art and stay off to the sidelines rather than participate too much with your watchers. You can tell you appreciate the attention you get but you're not too "social."
No deviants said A "People's" Artist: You do what everyone *wants* you to do. You tend to work more on things everyone else wants than what you want to. If the community doesn't like it, neither do you.
No deviants said Not an artist.

Scheduling a handful of my "The Lonely Polar Bear" pages to be posted in the mornings of a couple of days so that your inboxes don't get too bombarded, lol.
Gonna be super busy this week, so hope you guys enjoy the bit of art and F&F that'll be posted. uvu <3
Ahah I'm so bad at using my breaks productively.
Spring break is over & classes start again tomorrow & somehow I only got out one full piece of art. Oh, well. I should at least be able to post parts of a project I've been working on soon, which'll be nice.
I think based on the poll results, I'll post a few chapters from Part 2 which encompass a brief subplot storyline within the book. I'll be using Fridays as posting dates, per usual. Thanks for the interest and support, folks! :>
I'll make a more official announcement later (via some art or somethin idk), but I've made a Discord server for roleplaying, a bit of art, and some chit chat.
If anyone's interested, feel free to join in, here:
I may not be on all the time (I have a busy life, okay) but I'd love to have some of you guys to visit, chat, and start up random storylines with :0 You can do all those things on your own in there, too, but yeah. Stop on by!
I've gotten over my most recent bought of depression and wrote Chapter 19 of F&F. Expect that Friday! I'm also working on Chapter 20, which will [if everything goes right] be posted next Friday.
Have a good week, folks! I have more free time than usual, so I might be able to throw up some art.
I dunno if it'll change in the next few days or not, but I'm dealing with some heavy depression right now (have been all week), so don't expect any art or writing for a while. Also, I'm super busy with classes and work.  :c Sorry, folks.

Aw, thanks so much!
Unfortunately, I don't do free requests anymore! Just can't spare the time for 'em when I'm broke.
But! Maybe after my current queue of trades and commissions ends, I'll open up a few trades. :> That's a heavy "maybe" since I'm busy with classwork (and work work), but maybe!

A sketch page for you (from the Fantasy Xchange). I LOVE Aysel's design -- she was such a delight to draw!
